A Brief Overview
The Vice President of Strategic Initiatives & Project Management Officer (PMO) is a key executive leader responsible for driving the execution of the organization's most critical strategic programs and initiatives. This role oversees the enterprise-wide project management office, ensuring alignment between corporate strategy and program delivery, while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.
What you will do

Strategic Initiatives Leadership

Partner with C-level executives to identify, prioritize, and lead enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.

Translate business strategy into actionable programs with measurable outcomes.

Monitor the strategic initiative portfolio, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.

Lead cross-functional teams to drive change, resolve challenges, and deliver impact.

Project Management Office (PMO) Oversight
-
Lead the enterprise PMO team, overseeing project governance, standards, tools, and methodologies.

Establish and enforce best practices for project delivery and portfolio management.

Develop and manage project reporting frameworks, dashboards, and executive briefings.

Ensure resource allocation is optimized, and risk mitigation strategies are in place.

Organizational Alignment & Change Management

Drive alignment of strategic goals across departments and functional teams.

Champion change management practices to support transformation initiatives.

Foster a collaborative environment that accelerates decision-making and accountability.

Performance Measurement & Reporting

Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to initiative success and organizational progress.

Provide regular updates to executive leadership and the board on initiative status and risks.

Use data-driven insights to refine strategy execution and continuously improve outcomes.

Education Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.

MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience Qualifications

10+ years of progressive leadership experience.

5+ years leading strategic initiatives or PMO at the enterprise level.

Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional programs in a matrixed environment.
Skills and Abilities

Strong analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and business analytics.
