AR/AP Manager

A Brief Overview
The AR/AP Manager is responsible for the management of the overall accounting function and the accounting personnel in the assigned area.

What you will do

• Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury items.

• Oversee weekly AP check runs.

• Serve as a back up to all AP and AR personnel.

• Assist with the entry of AR and AP items.

• Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.

• Assisting the accounting manager as needed

• Assist with internal control evaluations

• Maintain and update accounting records and S.O.P.s

• Report to the Accounting Manager and work to improve accounting processes

• Oversee weekly crew pay process

• Performs three-way match

• Perform cash applications as needed

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting required.

• Equivalent experience required.

Required Experience Qualifications and Skills

• 5+ years of accounting experience

• Similar experience as a Staff Accountant or relevant role in accounting

• Experience with Performing three-way match and cash applications as needed

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Excellent use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; required knowledge of VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables

• Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks; work efficiently with minimal supervision; detail-oriented.

• Knowledge about using accounting principles and procedures

• Managing teams of 10 or more employees
