Evergreen is seeking qualified candidates for their Manufacturing Planner position.

Pay Rate: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour DOE

Manufacturing Planner Requirements:

• Experience in production.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with computers.
• Ability to create and understand reports in order to make production decisions.
• A desire to promote the success of the organization and production staff.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • Works with management to determine project material requirements and current inventory status to ensure resources are adequate to meet the company's production schedule.  

  • Assists in the development of and monitoring of master production schedules for all products/parts, and administering inventory levels within a lean manufacturing environment. 

  • Takes and compiles preliminary files and output and prepares material requirements to order job specific materials.

  • Maintains and distributes a daily log of all necessary inventory stock along with a material shortage list to the production, planning, purchasing departments. 

  • Interfaces with Inventory control and Purchasing on material status and manufacturing planning issues.

  • Perform weekly lumber counts and work with Purchasing to ensure adequate supply.

  • Work with purchasing to evaluate procurements via railroad from mill direct or truckloads from wholesale distribution.

  • Escalates issues as necessary to ensure that forecasted sales and unit production plans are properly integrated. 

  • Establishes manufacturing lead time on regular orders to meet delivery dates for new orders. 

  • Expedites and prioritizes work orders; coordinates weekly production schedule meetings. 

  • Revises and reschedules orders to compensate for rush order priorities, material shortages, vendors’ failure to deliver, or customer cancellations.

  • Reviews personnel assignments with managers and supervisors

  • Attends and participates in all company-sponsored training programs as required. 

  • Adhere to established safety rules and regulations and follow all safety procedures; maintain a safe and clean environment.

  • Complies with Company’s attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.

  • Other duties as assigned by Management
