Since 1979, Manning Building Supplies has been in the business of supplying Florida’s builders with the materials and support they need to get the job done. In addition to stocking the highest quality building lumber, hardware, and building supplies, Manning specializes in crafting and hanging custom doors, windows, and millwork. Now based in Jacksonville, we’ve grown from a single shop in Ocala to become the leading provider of high-quality building supplies and expert job support services throughout Eastern and Central Florida. With locations in Jacksonville, Ocala, Orlando, St. Augustine, Ft. Pierce, Lakeland, and Palm Beach, Manning Building Supplies has the staff and facilities to provide our customers with the best products and the highest level of service available.

About the role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic summer intern to join our field team and gain hands on experience in the building materials industry.

Our internship will provide the opportunity to work with us within our field operations team, As a summer intern, you will participate in a paid program with hands on experience to work on real-world projects, collaborate with industry leaders, and develop valuable skills for your future career!

Education and Requirements:

• Currently enrolled or recent graduate in an undergraduate degree program
• Excellent communication & organization skills
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• High attention to detail
• Self-motivated
• Time management skills
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple tasks
• Strong interest in the building materials field

Schedule:

• Up to 40 hours per week
• May 29 through August 16

Compensation:

• Undergrads: $18.00 – $24.00 / hour
• Graduate / MBA: $24.00 – $30.00 / hour
