Job Location: Remote, Nationwide

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for corporate real estate management to optimize utilization, reduce costs, and support organizational objectives.

  • Oversee the acquisition, leasing, and disposition of corporate real estate assets, including , managing contracts, due diligence processes, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess space requirements, identify potential locations, and evaluate lease or purchase options to meet business needs.

  • Manage relationships with landlords, brokers, and other external partners to ensure effective property management and maintenance.

  • Work with outside counsel to negotiate leases and other real estate contracts.

  • Analyze market trends, benchmarking data, and financial metrics to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for portfolio optimization and performance improvement.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive real estate portfolio documentation, including lease agreements, property records, and financial reports.

  • Provide guidance and support to regional teams on real estate-related matters, including site selection, lease negotiations, and property management issues.

  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes related to corporate real estate management.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree (one in real estate, business administration, finance, or a related field is a plus); advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., MBA, CCIM, CRE) preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate real estate management, including leasing, acquisitions, and portfolio optimization; experience in the building materials or distribution industry is a plus, experience managing a portfolio for a company with a large footprint a plus.

  • Strong financial and contractual acumen with the ability to analyze complex lease agreements, financial statements, and real estate investment metrics.

  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in real estate management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.

  • Proven leadership abilities with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving.
