A Brief Overview
The US LBM VP of Supply Chain – Specialty Materials is a key position that will aggressively pursue strategies for continuous improvement in cost reduction, supply management, material planning and control, and integration of supply chain elements.
What you will do
- Cultivate and maintain successful relationships with other functional departments and business colleagues from various business units.
- Collaborates with cross-functional departments to analyze trends and develop best business practice policies and standards to drive internal and external department budgets and improve operations.
- Achieves financial objectives by assisting in an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Creates a culture of continuous improvement.

Education Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Process Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree and related work experience required in lieu of Master's Degree.
Experience Qualifications
- 10+ years of purchasing, inventory control or warehousing experience required.
Skills and Abilities
- Detailed knowledge of building material industry & inventory management.
- Help maintain and enhance supplier and customer relations.
- Excellent oral and written communication proficiencies, positive interpersonal skills, and understanding of Servant Leadership.
- Helps lead by example in exhibiting soft skills such as training and motivating divisions when needed.
- Excellent analytical skills and a mastery of the tools needed to extract data and conduct RFPs efficiently. Significant proficiency in MS Office programs and other, area specific, software as needed. Expert MS Excel & PPT skills are required.
