U.S. LBM Holdings, LLC (“U.S. LBM”) has announced that Young Nam has been promoted to vice president of Pricing and Procurement for the company. Nam joined U.S. LBM in 2015 as director of Supply Chain Optimization.

In this newly created role, Nam is responsible for leading the company’s building materials procurement strategy to support the continued market growth of U.S. LBM’s divisions. Nam will work closely with Randy Aardema, executive vice president of Supply Chain for U.S. LBM, and will report to Jeff Umosella, COO of U.S. LBM and president of Universal Supply Company.

“Young has a deep understanding of building materials sourcing, procurement and supply chain operations,” said Umosella. “He has made numerous contributions to U.S. LBM’s growth strategy since joining us and we’re pleased that our divisions will continue to benefit from his knowledge and leadership.”

An industry veteran with more than 18 years of experience, Nam has held leadership positions with Accenture and Richmond American Homes and was corporate vice president of Supply Chain at ProBuild prior to joining U.S. LBM. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Maryland and master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Denver. He also holds a juris doctor degree from the University of Denver’s College of Law.
